Blood Sweat & Tears are considered by many critics to be musical version of Saturday Night Live, Though the members change through out the years and some will go on to be stars in their own right the ideology stays the same "Great Musicians will make great Music". Bobby Colomby the last original member left the band in 1977 but continues to guide the band to this day. Over 40 years of touring, BS&T still sells out concerts all over the world.

Blood Sweat & Tears have set the standard that all other horn bands are jugded by. To this day High school and College musicians are taught to play with BS&T charts, Bo Bice from 2008 American Idol performed to Spinning Wheel. Casey Abrams from 2011 American Idol performed Carol Kings Hi-De-Ho made famous by BS&T.
